Generally it is the tightening (contracting) of the uterus where the baby is staying now. When it contracts, baby has less space to move about, this caused the tummy to become hard. According to Mummy's friend, it is normal to have contractions. As long as it does not cause any pain, it will be alright. If it does, this will mean going into labor.

Girl girl, you still need stay in with mummy for another 3 months.. u need to gain weight of at least 3kgs before meeting daddy & mummy.. I know you are excited want to see us and so do your dad & mummy.. but we still need to wait ok?
